Die-cast brass shield
A die-cast brass housing. It doesn't rust, and it darkens to a natural patina over time.
Convex tempered glass
Clear tempered glass in front of the lamp. On the Northstar 2105 it is slightly domed so water doesn't pool on the lens; on the Milky Way 2303 it is flat.
Double silicone O-rings
Two silicone O-rings seal the head against moisture and condensation.
Beryllium copper socket
A beryllium copper socket holds the lamp firmly so it doesn't vibrate loose.
Adjustable knuckle
Aim the beam by hand, then lock it. On the Northstar 2105 and the Milky Way 2303.

How do I buy Luna Nova?
Apply for a trade account and we'll set you up with the right supply route for your business.
Will it work with my 12V system?
Yes. Luna Nova fixtures are low voltage and take 9 to 17 V AC/DC, so a 12 V system is within range. Drop-in lamps use GU5.3 (MR16) or G4 sockets. The spec sheet for each fixture lists its exact input range.
Drop-in lamps or integrated LED?
Both. The path lights, the well lights, the Northstar 2105 and the Milky Way 2303 take a standard MR16 or G4 lamp, sold separately, that you swap in the field. The in-grade lights, the wall and ledge lights and the Hidden Gem use an integrated LED.
